(Amman - May 2021) Believing in the importance of philanthropy and voluntary work, and in line with its commitment to corporate social responsibility, Bank of Jordan announced that it has renewed its partnership agreement with Tkiyet Um Ali.

Through the renewed partnership, Bank of Jordan will sponsor 20 less fortunate families in various governorates of the Kingdom for an entire year as part of the sustainable food support program, by providing monthly food parcels that covers the basic food needs of these families. In addition to covering the cost of food parcels and Iftar meals to be distributed during the holy month of Ramadan to beneficiaries of Tkiyet Um Ali’s programs in the capital Amman and all of the governorates Zarqa, Balqa and Madaba. Bank of Jordan’s employees took part in this event while adhering to all the precautionary measures regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

Bank of Jordan's partnership with Tkiyet Um Ali comes in line with the Bank's celebration of Jordan’s centennial, and in line with its Social Responsibility Strategy for the year 2021, which aims to support charitable and social programs and initiatives as part of its eagerness to help the less fortunate groups of society, and in response to the current circumstances resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
