(Amman - January 2021) Stemming from Bank of Jordan’s commitment to support and empower women in the local community, the bank offered its support as a strategic partner for the Women’s Innovation Lab, which was founded by the Jordan Forum for Business & Professional Women in cooperation with ReThinkers. A virtual opening ceremony for the lab was held on Monday, December 28, 2020, under the patronage of the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

The Women’s Innovation Lab is the first in the region to adopt modern and innovative methodologies and tools to enrich skills and promote creativity among women and youth. The lab aims to hold workshops with the purpose of developing innovative approaches to help face the challenges experienced by young people in general and women in particular, in addition to many purposeful workshops.

This support comes in line with Bank of Jordan’s social responsibility strategy and its continuous endeavors to enhance women's effective participation in economic and social development and provide the national economy with competent women by equipping them with training and qualification mechanisms in various fields.
