Why should I do an Internship?

Internships provide students with practical work experience opportunities to explore different career options and to develop skills, and to establish professional contacts. Internships are a great way to build your CV when looking for a new job after graduation

When will I know the status of my application?

Once you apply, we will take 1-2 weeks to review your CV and respond back to you.

Can I complete a "Remote" internship where I work from home?

No, students must be working on-site (not from home) for  their internship.There is a lot of valuable learning that comes from working face-to-face with others, including , both,technical and soft skills.

Do I get to choose which department / area I want to work in?

You can state your preferences, but all internship opportunities are based on what is available at the time.  We will, however, do our best to accommodate you.

How long is the internship and when does it start?

Internships are usually 5 weeks long for university students and 2 weeks long for school students. The start date will be based on the program.

Is this internship paid?

Students will receive a special internship allowance.

What kind of work will I be doing?

This will depend on the needs of the department to which you are assigned, your qualifications and interests. The program is designed to give you well rounded exposure.  All our interns will have an opportunity to develop technical skills and soft skills.

Will I be hired by Bank of Jordan  after my graduation?

The program does not guarantee employment by the Bank of Jordan, however, interns are encouraged to apply for vacancies at the Bank once they graduate.
